TOKYO/ZURICH 22 June 2021 –AirMobility Inc. of Japan signed a distribution agreement Dufour Aerospace concerning eVTOL products of the Switzerland based aircraft manufacturer.
Objectives
The “Public-Private Council for the Air Mobility Revolution” established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has set the delivery into operations date in 2023 for eVTOL business in Japan. In addition, at the 2025 Osaka Expo, a transportation service for spectators using eVTOL is planned. Therefore, securing the eVTOL that fit for purpose is also an important factor.
For this reason, AirMobility Inc. has signed a distribution agreement with Dufour Aerospace to support the Swiss Company enter the Japanese market with a clear view to promote eVTOL as sustainable advanced air mobility.
